Everything we can answer today. Where something is not yet decided, the answer names the roadmap step that will decide it rather than guessing.
About the summit
A three-day summit on AI for Viksit Bengal — Innovation, Inclusion & Sustainable Growth — held 10–12 September 2026 at WEBEL, Salt Lake, Kolkata. It brings together government, industry, educational institutions and innovators around a conference, a state-wide AI Challenge and a twelve-zone FutureTech Expo.
ARANYAJ Society for Educational & Environmental Development is the host organisation. Government, industry and academic participation is convened by the Society; the summit is not a government department's event.
The summit closes with the Bengal AI Declaration 2026 — a unified statement setting the policy and action framework for the next decade of Bengal's technological evolution. It is the finale of the nine-step roadmap.
Day 1 is Vision — keynotes, thought leadership and the AI-driven future. Day 2 is Build — hands-on workshops, innovation labs and collaborative sessions. Day 3 carries that work through to commitments, showcases and the Declaration.

Programme
The speaker line-up has not been announced. Speaker Reveal is Step 6 on the road to the summit — until it happens, no names are published on this site. The programme formats are confirmed: keynotes, panels, masterclasses, workshops, coding labs, a robotics arena and more.
Session-level timings follow the speaker reveal at Step 6 and the media campaign at Step 7. What is confirmed today is the three-day arc and the twelve activity formats, both of which are on the Programme page.
Bengali is a first-class language for this summit — this website carries a বাংলা interface, and language-inclusive AI is central to the Inclusion pillar. Session-level language arrangements will be confirmed with the full programme.
Participation
The Challenge opens for entries at Step 5 on the roadmap. Seven tracks are confirmed: Coding Challenge, AI Innovation, Robotics, STEM Projects, Creative AI, App Development and a 24-hour Hackathon, with cash awards, certificates and recognition for winners.
The Expo has twelve zones, from AI companies and startups through to student innovations. Ten partner categories are open, from Title Partner through to Media Partner. For either, write to aranyajseed@gmail.com or call 8240331565.
